this week's prayer points

Pray for our Pastors as they teach God’s Word to us and pray for us and lead the church forward. Pray that they themselves will honour the Lord Jesus in their lives so we can all follow them as they follow Christ. Pray for humble willingness on our part to trust, respect, and support them.

Pray for enough Chaplains to be found for fire-affected schools in Victoria as many Principals, Counsellors and Social Workers express this need. Pray that loving, theologically-sound Christians will sacrificially offer themselves for this immense task.

Thank God for the opportunities we have to express heavenly love and care to each other. Pray that we’d be mindful of each other’s needs and thoughtful about how we can respond. In particular, pray for Uncle P’s continued recovery from his medical procedure, mums looking after their young children, and those who cope with chronic physical or mental illness.
