Give thanks for the joy of knowing that we are loved freely and lavishly by our Father God. Pray that you might know and understand God’s love more.

Rejoice in the opportunity we have to go away as a church family for a weekend to get to know God’s word and each other better. Pray for a fruitful time of rich fellowship and learning, and that many SLEers will even make sacrifices to come for each other’s sake.

Pray particularly for Americans to clearly hear God’s voice in His Word and their consciences as they experience new freedoms concerning embryonic stem cell research and abortion. Pray that God’s people (including us) will stand up and speak out to defend the least and the lost, including unborn children whom God has created for His glory.
