this week's prayer points

Praise God for a good kick-start to the Grunt calendar with yesterday’s breakfast. Pray for our SLE men to support this new church-wide ministry with their prayers and participation, and that there will be powerful ripple effects throughout our church, families, and city as God grows them.

Give thanks for the many newcomers who’ve found our church through our website. Pray for their settling into Brisbane, that they will know God’s caring provision and use this change in life to grow in their trust and confidence in Him.

Pray for our personal Bible-reading and praying. Ask God to give us joy as we hear His voice in His word, and grow our love for and worship of Him. Pray too for discipline and motivation for the times in life when Bible-reading and praying fall by the wayside. Pray for protection against Satan’s lie that we don’t need to stand firm in these things.
