
wow! This photo is telling me that it was all the way back in May that these little seedlings pushed out of their cheap potting mix, on their way to becoming Roma tomatoes and sugar-snap peas! Alas, the peas didn't fare so well due to some wild gusts that not even the glass panes of our balcony could protect them from. :( The six we had each were delicious though!

The seedlings were transplanted to become this motley and yes, somewhat sickly-looking collection of tomato plants. It's a complete mystery as to how some of the Romas turned into cherries?!

I was very glad to see that even wind-beaten, water-sodden plants could bear such TASTY fruit! (I have it on good authority - a prodigiously smart 5-year old from our Sydney church - that tomatoes are technically fruit)

The plants are forcing us to rations; here are today's offerings :)
ah, praise God from whom all blessings flow :)
