this week's prayer points

Give thanks for God’s living word, freely available to us in our own language. Praise Him that it speaks to us clearly and without mystery, unlike the sacred texts of other religions. Praise Him for the Spirit’s help in illuminating its truths to us. Pray that we’d commit ourselves to reading, understanding, and applying it correctly, on a disciplined and regular basis.

Pray for Grunt and Bloom, our men’s and women’s ministries. Pray that they will fulfil the purpose for which they’re intended – to nurture the gender-specific growth and maturing in Christ of all of us. Pray for ourselves to see the need and value of these ministries and to participate in them wholeheartedly.

Pray for your witness in the coming week to non-Christians around you. Pray for compassion, courage, and clarity.
