Give consideration to the influx of new students – both Christian and non – to Brisbane over the next few weeks. Pray that we might be a deliberately welcoming church family to those who pass through our doors. Ask God to guide newcomers to churches and fellowship groups around Brisbane that will enable them to grow in and serve Christ.
Pray for people in our local community who go without the blessings we have in abundance, such as enough food, shelter, clothing, and love. Pray especially for those abused and homeless. Ask God to show them His kindness, grace, provision, and protection, and pray about how we might be the answer to these prayers as individuals and as a church.
